| Sumario: | 101 patients betwen 5 and 12 years of age were clinically and radio logically studied with the purpose of evaluating their dental development. The X-rays used were the panoramic and periapical x-rays. In every case, Demhjian-Levesque's Chart was used and Nolla's Chart was used for comparison purpose. The findings among our ethnical population closely with those Demirjian-Levesque's Chart. Due to this possibility of application and when relating our tooth eruption of girls in comparison to that of boys due to prepuberal period. Although analogies were found when using Demirjian-Levesque's and Nolla's Chart in the first case, when using panoramic X-rays, we found advange its application for practical use over Nolla's periapical X-rays without excessive radiation risk and simplicity in the manipulation, fieling and conservation of the material. |
