| Sumario: | We studied the interaction between the state political field and local party networks (2006-2022) in the state of Santiago del Estero, in a context of relative autonomy of state leaderships. The research shows that state officialdom in Santiago del Estero builds political predominance; however, it coexists with a process of electoral political dispute at the local level. In the case studied, the Frente Cívico, predominant at the state level, functions at the local level as a system containing officialism and opposition. The findings were constructed by descriptions of partisan network practices, from interviews, observational records and archival work in state newspapers for local elections in the years 2006, 2010, 2014, 2014, 2018, 2022. |
