Part of it showed its point of view from the so called Club para la recuperación democrática argentina and the magazine Resumen de la actualidad argentina. In this article, we will analyse the authors of that magazine linked with Justicialism who wrote about two key issues: the reasons of the 1976 coup d’etat and the present and future of Peronism. Our aim is to show the Madrid-based exile as a place where debate and learning of the democratic values was possible. Lejos de desvincularse de la situación política argentina, la comunidad del exilio de la última dictadura residente en Madrid siguió debatiendo sobre el pasado reciente y la actualidad del país. Parte de ella se expresó desde el Club para la recuperación democrática argentina y la revista Resumen de la actualidad argentina. En este artículo, centrándonos en los autores vinculados al justicialismo, exploramos dos de las cuestiones más importantes que se trataron en la publicación: las causas del golpe de 1976 y el presente y futuro del peronismo. Con ello trataremos de presentar al exilio madrileño como un espacio de debate y de aprendizaje de los valores democráticos.
