We will then address the characterization of Ejército de los Andes neighborhood,known as Fuerte Apache, trying to discriminate between objective statements and facts,recognizing those shortcomings of a housing plan that arose from this set of uncriticallyaccepted beliefs and procedures. Comenzamos este trabajo mediante el examen del contexto histórico-disciplinar,haciendo, posteriormente, énfasis en las representaciones que la disciplina construyó enese particular momento sobre la producción de vivienda social, para lo cual recurriremosa las técnicas proporcionadas por la historia cultural. Abordaremos luego lacaracterización del Barrio Ejército de los Andes, conocido como Fuerte Apache,intentando discriminar entre los dichos y los hechos objetivos, reconociendo aquellasfalencias de un plan habitacional que surgieron de aquel conjunto de creencias yprocedimientos aceptados acríticamente.
