| Sumario: | This report aims briefly to account for some aspects of the history of research in one of the three areas of the curriculum of the career of Modern Letters: that of Studies Critics of the Discourse. It is crossed by questions that try to focus on the points of doubt and decision taken when starting the task: when does the history of a field of knowledge begin? Moreover, how to delimit that field of knowledge in such a way, what is its border with related sectors? And also: how to delimit the research activity in the teaching activity? With some provisional and purely instrumental answers, I will try to point out some of the landmarks from which a representation of the investigation in the area can be completed, as a mere introduction. Information gathering was done through interviews with actors, from teachers who were students in the late fifties and those who are currently teaching. |
