| Sumario: | A clinical case of pneumonia is presented in a patient with stage IV lung cancer whose etiological agent is Nocardia cyriacigeorgica. The case presented is of interest given that the principal clinical suspicions were pulmonary tuberculosis and abscessed metastatictumors, with A suspicion of such causal agent arising from the microbiology laboratory. Furthermore, the importance of identification speaking of species and achievement of susceptibility to antimicrobials profile is discussed. |
