Sumario:Benign metastasizing leiomyomatosis (BML) is a rare condition characterized by extrauterine lesions with metastatic behavior in patients with a history of uterine leiomyomas. We present the case of a 52-year-old woman with a history of postpartum hysterectomy for necrotic myoma, who presented with cough and right thoracic pain. Computed tomography revealed multiple bilateral pulmonary nodules and masses with heterogeneous enhancement with contrast. Pathological analysis demonstrated smooth muscle tumors with hormone receptor expression and a low mitotic index. Treatment with an aromatase inhibitor (anastrozole) resulted in a significant decrease in the lesions.
