Abstract:
In our country it is estimated that approximately half of the people with chronic diseases show lack of adherence to treatment. Within the framework of the Primary Health Care strategy, the evidence supports that work in a community environment, together with the participation of monitors who continuously provide support and education for self-care, promotes adherence to treatment and the overall functioning of the patients. patients with arterial hypertension. To understand the experiences and experiences of the monitors in the implementation of a community intervention to evaluate the adherence to the treatment of patients with a diagnosis of arterial hypertension in health centers in the eastern area of Córdoba. Qualitative phenomenological research. The participants were all community monitors who developed the intervention. The sampling was by saturation and the techniques were: analysis of field notebook records and an in-depth interview at the end of the third and final phase. The analysis was carried out by transcription of the recording, coding, categorization of the descriptors and theoretical understanding. The findings are organized in three dimensions: Relations with the research team, whose perception was felt as difficulty in integrating into the research process as a systematized project with a different logic to the daily work of the community referents and problems in meeting the meetings, to record the information collected. Relations with users, they experienced that they were close to users and that they could carry out transformations in their own community. Relationships in their daily life, they expressed that they were able to identify as a group even though they came from different health centers and achieve changes in themselves, such as improving overweight and choosing healthier foods. They felt motivated and able to restart their studies. It is evident that the articulation of joint work between community monitors and researchers generated positive experiences for daily life and reciprocity with users. Difficulties in the relationship with the research team allowed feedback, improve the process and expand training spaces. |
