| Sumario: | Acetabulum fractures are a frequent identity in older adults today, associated with low-energy trauma. The indication for surgical or conservative treatment depends on multiple factors such as the age and comorbidities of the patient, the type and location of the fracture, and the socio-economic environment. We described an unusual case of infected hematoma, secondary to a closed acetabulum fracture, which led to septic arthritis of the hip joint. |
