Sumario:The objective of this work is to investigate a possible theoretical and methodological approach to identify patterns of knowledge dissemination for innovations in the framework of an inter-firm organization. In particular, an attempt is made to contribute to the identification of elements that identify the flow of knowledge related to business activity, that is, to highlight the institutional configuration of the exchange of knowledge related to innovation among the members of the inter-firm organization. It is concluded that carrying out studies that imply a relational perspective of the organizations requires a theoretical approach and a methodology that are specifically reticular.   Date received: March 19, 2020 Acceptance date: April 24, 2020
