| Sumario: | Euphorbia weberbaueri (Euphorbiaceae), new record for Ecuador. Euphorbia weberbaueri Mansf. is now recorded for first time for Ecuador. This species, reported as endemic to northern Peru, is cited now for southern Ecuador; plant specimens were collected in two spots of dry scrub of the Loja Province (Catamayo and Saraguro counties) and places with similar climatic characteristics in the Azuay province. A brief description, a map of potential distribution and pictures of the species are given. |
