| Sumario: | In the current study, we conducted an analysis of the lithic material found at the Cueva 1 site of the Alma Gaucha archaeological locality (Santa Cruz province, Argentina), whose occupations date back to the late Holocene. Our analysis focused on the distribution of technomorphological categories for each identified raw material. The results obtained indicate that the internal space of the rock shelter was the scene of various tasks, among which the formatting of cores, obtaining base shapes and manufacturing bifaces stand out. Furthermore, our findings included indicators that open up the possibility of discussing the site's use as a logistical camp. |
