| Sumario: | The Northern Calchaquí Valley has been intensely occupied since early times. The last millennium AC population was dedicated to agriculture and animal management and husbandry when policies from Cusco asume relevant presence in the region. In this paper we propose to analyze how visibility of landscape would have been a weighty criterion for the installation of prehispanic architecture. Preliminary results suggest that this variable would not have played a transcendental role in the organization of the space. On the contrary, local sites apears to be more relevant about this variable. |
