| Sumario: | This paper presents the data obtained in the techno-morphological analyses of the ceramic assemblage recovered in Casa Rudi 1 archaeological site (Anfama, Tucumán), a Regional Development Period (PDR) occupation. It is aimed at reviewing the main explanations about the nature of the late intermediate occupations on the eastern slopes of Cumbres Calchaquíes, especially those related to the dissemination of the Santamariano style. We propose that the production and use of ceramic was focused in the biological and social reproduction of domestic group. Besides that, the ceramic production implied the appropriation of regional stylistic parameters which allows the construction of boundaries with distant social spaces. |
