Sumario:This paper presents the morphological characteristics of the pottery assemblage from Los Bananos site. The site lies on an albardón located in the Middle Parana river alluvial plain (Goya, Corrientes), and it was occupied by hunter-gatherer-fishers with horticultural practices during the late Holocene. The aim is to contribute to the understanding of the morphological variability within Goya-Malabrigo ceramic tradition. The results show high percentage of unrestricted and simple dependent restricted vessels, with direct rim and different lip shapes. Therefore, the wall was carried to the lip without break in smoothness or change in thickness of contour, and the edge was finished by hand. In lower percentages, the rim set off as a distinct part.
