Sumario:The record of ethnographic hunting tactics as well as the hunting tactics inferred from the archaeological record -particularly from Fuego-Patagonia- are discussed. It is concluded that most of the fuego-patagonian archaeological cases are the result of collective tactics. After discussing the particular case of site Las Vueltas 1, Tierra del Fuego, it is sustained that there are no bone beds attributable to the hunting of guanacos (Lama guanicoe) dispatched in a single event.
