Sumario:In the XXXI Volume of Relaciones de la Sociedad Argentina de Antropología (pp. 337-346, 2006), Andrés Laguens published a note where he claims the authorship of ideas and concepts about preColumbian history of the Córdoba Ranges that, from his point of view, would have been used by the members of the team which signs this paper without acknowledging his authorship. The purpose of this response is to clarify and define the contributions of this author to dismiss their claims, which we consider unfounded and, believing that its proposals and interpretations are, ultimately, inconsistent with the knowledge currently available. We also stop at the quantitative and qualitative differences in our researches, detailing the specific contributions, their results and importance.
