Sumario:This paper presents the partial analyzes of a survey carried out with undergraduate students from the physics career from the National University of Mar del Plata. The survey was carried out during the 2022 school year and aimed to define some aspects related to the students' vision of theorizing and experimentation. One of the aspects refers to defining a theoretical-experimental character in the students; the next one consists of defining the degree of importance that experimentation has in their own training; and finally see how they position Physics with respect to other disciplines and human activities. This counterpoint between theory and experimentation is known in the field of our discipline when differentiating between theoretical and experimental physicists.
