| Sumario: | This work is part of the final stage of development of a doctoral thesis, within the line of science teaching based on models and modeling and focuses on teacher training processes. It is proposed to characterize and analyze the conceptualizations about models and modeling of a selected group of practicing technical school teachers. This is a qualitative study of ten cases of science and technology teachers, who attended a continuous teacher training course, lasting one semester, at the National Pedagogical University in Argentina. The process of developing didactic sequences that include the formulation of open and complex problems and that require the design, elaboration and construction of analog models for the contextualized teaching of Physics contents for their resolution is analyzed. It is expected that the research results can serve as input for the design of teacher training devices in physics that include aspects of working with models and modeling. |
