Its main objective is to advise a university professor through the presentation and analysis of research results in the field of Science Teaching. The data were constituted during two semesters, in the first semester, the classes were followed by the researcher and his observations constituted a field diary, in the second semester, the researcher advised the professor in charge of the didactic laboratory of physics, presenting the alternative conceptions that the students of that class had on themes that would be worked. The repercussion of the use of research results was analyzed through interviews with the professor, recorded, transcribed and analyzed through discourse analysis. The professor considered the contact with research results in the area of teaching significant and used them in his teaching practice. The relationship established between researchers from different areas was highlighted as relevant, and the advice provided has the potential to be applied in different disciplines. Este trabalho possui como referenciais a análise de discurso de perspectiva francesa, estudos relativos às concepções alternativas de estudantes e a relevância do laboratório didático de física na formação inicial de professores de Física. Tendo como objetivo central assessorar um professor universitário através da apresentação e análise de resultados de pesquisa na área de Ensino de Ciências. Os dados foram constituídos durante dois semestres, no primeiro as aulas foram acompanhadas pelo pesquisador e suasobservações constituíram um diário de campo, já no segundo semestre, o pesquisador assessorou o docente responsável de laboratório didático de física, apresentando as concepções alternativas que os estudantes daquela turma possuíam em temas queseriam trabalhados. A repercussão da utilização de resultados de pesquisa foi analisada através de entrevistas com o docente, gravadas, transcritas e analisadas através da análise de discurso. O docente considerou o contato com resultados de pesquisa na área de ensino significativo e os utilizou em sua prática docente. A relação estabelecida entre pesquisadores de diferentes áreas foi destacada como relevante, bem como a assessoria prestada apresenta potencialidade para ser aplicada em disciplinas diversas.
