Experiences of research and implementation of sustainable sanitation systems have been developed in several countries since the 70's. For this, it is necessary that the wastewater generated be treated to levels that do not af-fect the environment to which they are dumped and to achieve a sustainable treatment, it is necessary to carry out a project that addresses the development of a process of biological treatment of waste water with low energy consumption and environmental impact. We present a proposal not yet implemented that integrates knowledge from the basic sciences, advancing to the concepts provided by the Sanitary Engineering, in the last year of the Civil Engineering career. We will work particularly with the students of the last level of the race. From physics we will contribute the study of the physical properties of the samples obtained and the analysis of the behavior of the fluid under study. Desde la década de los años setenta se vienen desarrollando en diversos países experiencias de investigación e implementación de sistemas de saneamiento sostenibles. Para ello es menester que las aguas residuales genera-das sean tratadas hasta niveles que no afecten al medio ambiente al que son vertidas y para conseguir un trata-miento sostenible, es necesario llevar a cabo un proyecto que aborde el desarrollo de un proceso de tratamiento biológico de aguas residuales con bajo consumo energético e impacto medioambiental. Presentamos una pro-puesta aún no implementada que integra conocimientos desde las ciencias básicas, avanzando hasta los concep-tos proporcionados por la Ingeniería Sanitaria, en el último año de la carrera Ingeniería Civil. Trabajaremos particularmente con los alumnos del último nivel de la carrera. Desde la física aportaremos el estudio de las pro-piedades físicas de las muestras obtenidas y el análisis del comportamiento del fluido en estudio.
