Sumario:The use of numerical methods as a science teaching strategy is employed mainly at universities, because of the calculus and programation notions needed. In this work it’s proposed to secondary teachers the design of activities employing numerical simulations using the graphical interface of spreadsheets to work analysis and evaluation skills on student. The Euler method in conjunction with the second Newton law will be used to study uniformly accelerated motion, damped harmonic oscillator, various cases of projectiles considering friction and central forces, heat transfer on a wire and finally laminar viscous flux. Euler method calculus error will be addressed, how to face them so that the used models become more accurate than what is predicted by theory.
