| Sumario: | The purpose of this work is to clarify some confusional points of a well known example: the study of the rotation without sliding on a horizontal plane, of a cylinder of mass M and radius R under the action of a force F. Most of the textbooks frecuently develop incompletely but also to the teachers. In fact, its study riquires a clear and deep understanding of the fundamental axioms of dynamics, in a model in which the frictional force and geometry must be considered. We believe that this is an excellent problem to integrate the ideas of this important branch of Physics. |
