Sumario:The article outlines a research program aimed at politicizing the analysis of social time, punctually highlighting its logical, causal and functional relationships with the commodity form. For that, six aspects of criticism are distinguished: normative rejection; the unveiling of hidden mechanisms; forgetting the arbitrariness of origin; the reconstruction of impositions; the identification of reproduction mechanisms; the promotion of alternative activisms. The content that each one can have within the framework of a critical sociology of capitalist time is analyzed. And it concludes with a consideration of the interest of the proposal in the context of the critique of capitalism in general.
