It was developed in the Cabinet of Study and Research in Social Work (GEITS) and in the Institute of Socio-Economic Research (IISE), dependent on the Faculty of Social Sciences (FACSO), National University of San Juan (UNSJ), during the period 2019 -2021.
It is important to point out that the researchers positioned themselves in the Human Rights Approach, the Gender Perspective and from the discipline of Social Work.
The methodology used was qualitative, since it sought to recover points of view of the social actors themselves and interpret the meanings that they attribute to social situations they go through in their daily life. In this way, the collection techniques used were: bibliographic diving; collection and analysis of content from various documentary sources, and in-depth interviews with key informants.
Particularly, in this article the meanings and tensions present in the implementation of ESI in state schools in the province of San Juan will be examined, thus, the normative/conceptual frameworks linked to ESI will be taken and the discourses of the actors involved in its implementation will be assessed. Finally, we will reflect on the role of the State in ESI, in pandemic and post-pandemic times. |

En este artículo se presentan los resultados obtenidos en una investigación titulada: “Educación Sexual Integral (ESI) en las escuelas estatales de la provincia San Juan: análisis de sentidos y tensiones en torno a su implementación, desde marcos normativos y desde la perspectiva de las/os propias/os actoras/es sociales involucradas/os”. La misma se desarrolló en el Gabinete de Estudio e Investigación en Trabajo Social (GEITS) y en el Instituto de Investigaciones Socio-Económicas (IISE), dependientes de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales (FACSO), Universidad Nacional de San Juan (UNSJ), durante el periodo 2019-2021. Es importante señalar, que las investigadoras se posicionaron en el enfoque de derechos humanos, la perspectiva de género y desde la disciplina de Trabajo Social. La metodología que se empleó fue de tipo cualitativa, ya que se buscó recuperar los puntos de vista de las/os propias/os actoras/es sociales e interpretar las significaciones que las/os mismas/os les atribuyen a situaciones sociales que los atraviesan en su cotidianidad. De este modo, las técnicas de recolección implementadas fueron: el buceo bibliográfico, la recopilación y análisis de contenido de diversas fuentes documentales y entrevistas en profundidad a informantes claves. Particularmente, en este artículo se examinarán los sentidos y las tensiones presentes en la implementación de la ESI en escuelas estatales de la provincia de San Juan y para ello se tomarán los marcos normativos/conceptuales vinculados a ESI y se analizarán los discursos de las/os actoras/es involucradas/os en su implementación. Finalmente, se reflexionará sobre el papel del Estado en la ESI, en tiempos de pandemia y pospandemia.
