Inserted in a Network of Ombudsmen that began in the Buenos Aires suburbs, they are based on the horizontality of knowledge among territorial actors and the creation of strategies to address access to justice and contribute to the fight against institutional violence. This article deals with the experience of setting up a Territorial Ombudsman's Office from a university extension project of the National University of Mar del Plata in the Belisario Roldán neighborhood of the same city, under the paradigm of critical extension. Based on this, the process of participation in the neighborhood fabric is described as strengthening social networks, and the dispute to thread new senses of popular intervention in territories where the rupture of social ties favors the deepening of violence. Finally, it deals with the route of articulations carried out, the main axes of intervention of the device as well as the role of the University as one more social actor in the construction of community experiences. Las Defensorías Territoriales en Derechos Humanos son equipos multiactoralesde intervención territorial basados en estrategias colectivas ante situaciones de violencia institucional. Insertas en una Red de Defensorías que comenzó en el Conurbano Bonaerense, se basan en la horizontalidad de saberes entre los actores territoriales y la creación de estrategias para abordar el acceso a la justicia y contribuir a la lucha contra la violencia institucional. El presente artículo aborda la experiencia de conformación de una Defensoría Territorial a partir de un proyecto de extensión universitaria de la Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata en el barrio Belisario Roldán de la misma ciudad, bajo el paradigma de la extensión crítica. A partir de ello, se describe el proceso de participación en la trama barrial como fortalecedora de redes sociales, y la disputa por enhebrar nuevos sentidos de intervención popular en territorios donde la ruptura de los lazos sociales favorece la profundización de la violencia. Finalmente, se aborda el recorrido de articulaciones realizadas, los principales ejes de intervención del dispositivo como así también el rol de la Universidad como un actor social más en la construcción de experiencias comunitarias.
