| Sumario: | In this article, the structural persistence of social inequality is analyzed, together with the impact on the daily life of the most disadvantaged social sectors, particularly in periods of greater retraction of the State social function. In this context, we will approach the social question from a historical and critical view, which manifests in particular social processes. We know that the analysis of this subject is very broad and complex, especially when we understand that the social question, despite having common characteristics in our region, express itself in a particular way in each of our countries. The result of these particular processes has generated differentiated conditions in its subsequent development. The registration of this further development and its expression in people’s daily life is a key to understand the current scenario of professional intervention. |
