| Sumario: | In Argentina, the teacher training system for secondary schools is regulated by the Higher Education Law (LES, 24.521/95) and the National Education Law (LEN, 26.206/06) and the regulations and documents derived from them. As for the training system, it is composed of two subsystems; on the one hand, national universities and, on the other hand, Teacher Training Institutes dependent on provincial jurisdictions. Throughout educational history, this coexistence has led to encounters and tensions between curricular proposals. |
