El objetivo del programa presentado es la capacitación de docentes y el desarrollo de prácticas relaciona das a la temática ambiental en las unidades escolares involucradas, iniciando de esta manera un proceso de cambio de valores y de actitudes a fin de mejorar la calidad de la enseñanza. Se presentan los fundamentos, principios y prácticas utilizadas por el programa y las experiencias realizadas entre los años 1995 y 1999.
