The statements collected through different types of interviews, the actions that characterized some teaching practices from direct observation and indirect observation of the technological tools used by the biology teacher were interpreted. The configuration of the teaching practice of Biology through ICT was characterized from the content analysis, which allowed generating the interpretive corpus of propositions and the category system, being the relevant inputs for the formulation of the case. The results made it possible to collect relevant antecedents related to the category system. Likewise, the interpretive corpus facilitated the obtaining of an interpretive model of the configuration of the teaching practice of Biology through Resugh's ICT, as well as the formulation of the theory of this data-driven configuration. The research provides knowledge regarding the approach of an intrinsic case study, and is based on a techno-didactic model for the teaching of Biology and data collection on elements that make up the teaching practice of Biology through ICT. Esta tesis doctoral tuvo como objeto de estudio la configuración de la práctica de enseñanza de Biología, a través de las TIC de un profesor vinculado a la Secretaría de Educación de Bogotá que enseña en el nivel de básica secundaria (séptimo a noveno). Se interpretaron: las declaraciones recopiladas a través de diferentes tipos de entrevistas, las acciones que caracterizaron algunas prácticas de enseñanza a partir de la observación directa y la observación indirecta de las herramientas tecnológicas que empleó el profesor de Biología. Se caracterizó la configuración de la práctica de enseñanza de Biología a través de las TIC a partir del análisis de contenido, el que permitió generar el corpus interpretativo de proposiciones y el sistema de categorías. Resultan los insumos relevantes para la formulación del caso. Los resultados posibilitaron recopilar antecedentes destacados relacionados con el sistema de categorías. Asimismo, el corpus explicativo facilitó la obtención de un modelo interpretativo de la configuración de la práctica de enseñanza de Biología a través de TIC de Resugh, como también la formulación de la teoría de esta conformación basada en los datos. La investigación aporta conocimiento respecto al abordaje de un estudio de caso intrínseco, se basa sobre un modelo tecnodidáctico para la enseñanza de la Biología y recopilación de datos sobre elementos que configuran la práctica de enseñanza de Biología a través de TIC.
