Sumario:Within the framework of a broader research on the teaching of the Human Circulatory System at High School Level, the strategies used by two teachers during the development of didactic proposals supported by the use of audiovisual resources (videos and animations) were recorded. Interactions with knowledge that occurred in the classroom were also investigated. This article presents qualitative results from the analysis of classroom records and interviews with each teacher, with a focuse on: (a) the characteristics of the proposal carried out (b) the type of use of ICT resources; and (c) the learning approaches promoted. The evidence indicates that there were differences in each teacher's conceptions about teaching and learning, which determined diverse ways of using the audiovisual resources provided.
