| Sumario: | The aim of this work was to develop a practical tool to teach Microbiology in high school, providing teachers and students with an attractive experience, allowing them to acquire scientific knowledge linked to inquiry-based learning, which leads to a greater interest in Microbiology as a subject, a study field, or a career. This manuscript presents the results of an inter-institutional effort to introduce this tool in the planning of a problem-based learning strategy. This tool was finally tested in the classrooms and showed that it could introduce practical Microbiology in the activities of high school education in Uruguay. |
