Una experiencia en una escuela primaria pública Cañellas, Adriana Marisa Maldonado Galdeano, Graciela Mabel This paper presents a teaching proposal consisting in five lessons developed in third grade of an elementary school. The following objectives were set: To provide students with a variety of tools to communicate the knowledge built on the vegetation diversity in the area, using language from Natural Sciences and Statistics; To analyze the impact on the way in which students relate to the objects of knowledge in a natural and research context; To analyze the advantages of using various sources of reliable information. The results highlight the importance of showing scientific concepts from different representations and by interacting with nature. The diverse sources of access to knowledge contribute to the formation of a scientific spirit in our students. Se presenta una propuesta de enseñanza de cinco clases desarrolladas en tercer grado de una escuela primaria. Los objetivos planteados fueron: dotar de diversas herramientas a estudiantes para comunicar los conocimientos construidos sobre la diversidad vegetal de la zona, usando lenguajes de Ciencias Naturales y de Estadística; analizar la incidencia en la manera con que el estudiantado se relacionan con los objetos de conocimiento en un contexto natural y de investigación; analizar las ventajas de la utilización de diversas fuentes de obtención de información confiable. Como resultados se valora la importancia de mostrar los conceptos científicos desde diferentes representaciones e interactuando con la naturaleza. Las diversas fuentes de acceso al conocimiento contribuyen a la formación del espíritu científico en el colectivo estudiantil.
