A number of different criteria were used - authorship, contents, educational inputs and interactivity - to enable the assessment of different websites. According to the results obtained in this work, there are many websites that provide access to certain type of information on Chagas disease. However, when evaluating the approach presented and the failures contained, it can be observed that not only data is outdated but also virtual education on this topic is scarce. Con el objetivo de identificar y valorar sitios web que ofrezcan información sobre la enfermedad de Chagas, además de recursos o materiales relacionados con el campo de la educación, se analizaron sitios con las palabras claves “Chagas” y “Chagas + Educación”. Se utilizó una serie de criterios (autoría, contenidos, aportes educativos e interactividad) que permitieron valorar los diferentes sitios web. De acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos en este trabajo, existen muchos sitios web que facilitan el acceso a determinadas informaciones sobre Chagas sin embargo, cuando se evalúa cuál es el abordaje que se presenta y cuáles son las deficiencias que contienen, se observa que además de datos desactualizados, la educación virtual sobre esta temática es escasa.
