| Sumario: | In this work we study the representations about teaching and learning, from the framework of the implicit theories, in university teachers of Biology. We use a convergence of instruments from quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The inquiry through a previously validated dilemmas questionnaire showed the predominance of a constructive conception. However, in the dilemmas associated with practice, the selected options don ?t correspond with this vision. We inquired the aspects related to the practice, by semistructured interviews, finding that the predominant conception is close to the direct theory. |
