Sumario:The following paper presents a synthesis of the progress of the research work carried out within the framework of the project"Contemporary theatrical practices and metapoetic discourses", coordinated by Lic. Ana Yukelson. The general theme revolvesaround the theories about practice in the world of theater, analyzing its elaboration and proposing possible relationships with professionalization, creative processes and self-awareness of theatrical practice.In our particular case, we have delimited our inquiry around specific problematizations of the acting task, highlighting its anchored in the expressive needs of the actor. Hence, our research addresses the basic procedures of poetic composition, where the actor is subject and object of acting production. As a case study, on this occasion, we analyze the work of the renowned actress Maura Sajeva.
