| Sumario: | The flood of the city of La Plata on April 2, 2013, as a traumatic and unexpected event, caused a destabilizing situation for that society. In the following months the local artistic field, interpellated by the event, functioned as a platform that made possible the emergence of multiple collective proposals, that problematized what occurred.
In this way, the work analyzes the artistic intervention called Stages of collective memory, action developed in the public space around the commemoration of the first anniversary of the flood, with the purpose of problematizing the idea that art is a vehicle of memory. |
