But in order to do so, it would be necessary to define not only what to investigate, but also how to do it.   La investigación artística en el campo de la academia no es una novedad. Lo que podrían llegar a ser novedosas son las metodologías que se activan al intervenir sobre las praxis para acceder a aquellos saberes específicos que perviven en su interior. Desde abordajes diversos, al interior de los procesos investigativos, la escena puede convertirse en objeto de producción de conocimiento, enseñanza e investigación. Pero para ello habría que permitirse definir no únicamente qué investigar, sino también cómo hacerlo.
