Sumario:This thesis is a commitment to painting in our Department of Visual Arts, but this does not imply that it is a blind defense in the name of the myths of great Art, as is often the case. On the contrary, it is a critical development (in a practical and theoretical sense) that trusts -even today- in the strength of the reflection of certain practices. The text that we present here had its correlate in a series of paintings made with encaustic and tempera.
