Sumario:What aspects does the digital status give to cinematographic and video images? This question guided the inquiry into contemporary audiovisual production. The video image, formerly based on magnetic recording and its electronic reproduction, now calculated and digitally updated, provides a terrain for observing the development of a conflicting imaginary technicality. Its immateriality, better understood as a process (electronic scanning, numerical matrix updated in pixels) enables us to consider indetermination as a possibility of technopoetic comprehension. This article presents the journey of that study that began with the analysis of the film Notebook on Cities and Clothes, presented in video-installation format as a recomposition of the process. The elements that emerged during the journey made it possible to construct conceptualizations on the links between video, body and fashion.
