| Sumario: | The crisis of the liberalism along the interwar period, faced the development of the first anti-Bolshevik analysis and the beginnings of anticommunism. In Argentina, catholics and the extremeright nationalism started their fight against the so-called ‘red threat’, linked to old criticisms againstliberalism. Thus, democracy, communism, and liberalism were articulated in the construction ofanticommunist ideas, in order to defend the social order. The following text aims to analyze therelationship between antiliberalism and anticommunist positions, highlighting the ruptures andcontinuities throughout the interwar years. |
