Sumario:The aim of this paper will be the analysis of a number of direct mentions to Jesus´ figure, in particular those considered the most significant founded in the Jewish literature of Late Antiquity: the rabbinical texts – mainly in the main corpora – and the Toldot Yeshu narrative, being the latter a difficult text to categorize. Pondering these material, the object will be to re-examine the motivations that led late-ancient Jews – rabbinic and non-rabbinic – to develop negative images about Jesus (and Mary) in the texts of the period.
