Sumario:"Democratic transition to the "neuquina" has tried to contribute to the work on transition carried out from the main national spaces. To this end, a periodization was initially tried in order to make the traditional version of the Falklands War more complex as the beginning of this process. In this framework, the general purpose was to account for the movements of the various actors in the complex political game of the period 1980-1983 in the province of Neuquén. The aim was to analyze, in particular, how the party centrality of the Neuquén Popular Movement, the provincial political party, gave it a certain dynamic, making the transition a transition to the "neuquina", in which federalism functioned as the registration surface of a political debate.
