And what was the budget's role we try to demonstrateif the republican and federal regime was really a fact for the province. Here, we analize what happened with the changes in the government structure, in the public finances and in the results obtained. Se analizan aquí las transformaciones sufridas en la hacienda pública mendocina en particular como en el Estado en general. Allí advertimos cómo se transforma la estructura estatal y cómo se modifican también en este aspecto las finanzas públicas para permitir la existencia del régimen federal teniendo mucho que ver con ello la instalación de presupuestos anuales en el período estudiado y aún antes. Se trata de demostrar en este ensayo si el régimen republicano y federal plasmado política y jurídicamente, y muy especialmente este último, pudo concretarse en Mendoza de manera efectiva, analizando a ese efecto lo ocurrido en la estructura estatal y en las correlativas finanzas públicas provinciales y federales, como así mismo en los resultados alcanzados.
