| Sumario: | At the end of the nineteenth century Argentina faced a process of economic modernization and social diversification. But soon the undesired results of that modernization were present in the social and political discussions. So the elite produced some speeches and the main points were some new social actors in the public sphere. That speeches had an intention of reorganize the society since some ideal images and the good woman and the bad immigrant were the main points in them. In a prosperous nation, some women seems to be in the wrong way. We will intend to analyse what way adopted the elite speech that called the good woman and their actions and the different social actors answers in a town in the south frontier of the Buenos Aires Province (Tandil). |
