| Sumario: | The colonization process in the province of Buenos Aires (Argentina) acquired specials characteristics during historic peronism (1946-1955), especially during the Domingo Mercante government. In that context was recreated the Instituto Autárquico de Colonización (Autarkic Colonization Institute), which not only creates colonies in the Buenos Aires grain production’s area, but in a field near to the big cities as the part of Florencio Varela. This article purpose is analyse precisely the colony case 17 de Octubre (La Capilla), like a specific case, with dedication to the horticultural production (and floriculture), and entail with conventions to put down roots European immigrants. His institutional and regulatory aspects, as well as the issues that make instances of sociability and Landed property the settlers, most of them immigrants and his educational prospects, will be interest for this study which aims to provide a better understanding of the colonization process and its application to an area not linked to agro export production. |
