| Sumario: | In this paper we propose an initial approach to the forms of political mobilization during the mitrista military revolution of 1874, an event that had one of its epicenters in the southern border of the province of Buenos Aires. We will be focusing on subaltern criollos segments-organized in the National Guard- and the natives -settled as friendly Indians on that border-, serving both the resources of the government and rebel elites to add them to their cause. We will also analyze the existing action margins for these sectors in the campaign and in the city. |
