Here we found 250 credit records, a large part of which belongs to a small group of lenders. Besides, they appear taking part of many additional economic activities. First, we present a comprehensive examination of these loans, its temporal distribution and its amounts. Then, using supplementary documents from Ávila, we analyze the activities of the most prominent creditors. Finally, we intent a reconstruction of this sector’s social profile as part of the late medieval urban society.
