Sumario:This study aims to reflect on the strategic importance of the Central Bioceanic Corridor for the Central Region of Argentina, through three dimensions: its conceptualization as a development space, its role in the global economy, and the use of paradiplomacy as a tool for articulating transnational interests. It is an exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, based on a review of specialized literature. Although integration in the Central Bi-Oceanic Corridor is a topic that involves various disciplines, the motivations for this article lie in contributing from International Relations and paradiplomacy to problematize the case and identify new questions that contribute to explaining the interactions and results, of an idea that, after 25 years, has not shown significant progress.
