Sumario:The concept of international society constitutes a central theoretical and analytical category in thefield of international studies. Its theoretical development, not exempt from debates and controversies, was shaped,fundamentally, by the contributions of the classical authors who made up the so-called “English school”. Precisely, in thisarticle we make a journey through some of the main contents of the theoretical construction referring to internationalsociety from the perspective of classical contributions.
